"The haunted house"

Once upon a time, there was a ghost named Cookie.
Cookie was very funny and he enjoyed playing with his friends.
He loved Halloween because children get sweets from all the houses in the neighborhood where he lives ...
But every year he was afraid of passing by a house that everybody said to be haunted. They said it was the house of a witch.
-This year I'm going to ask for candies in that haunted house, after all the house should be like the others...
At Halloween he went with his neighbors and friends asking for candies, the witch's house was just the first one that they visited.
-Trick or Treat?
When the witch opened the door, they were all amazed,  the “witch” didn’t  looked like a witch.
-Hello, I thought you were a witch. - Cookie said.
-What? That is rude! Why did you thought that I was a witch?
-Because you live in a house full of black cobwebs, has many black cats, you live far away from people and they never see you on the street. Sorry to called you a witch.
-Ok. But do you still want some candies?
 - Yes, we want!
 - Okay, so I'll give you candies.
 - Thank you! Goodbye!
 - Goodbye! What a friendly lady... we all make mistakes, but for now I will behave differently, so the other people don’t think I’m a witch.
When Halloween was over, Cookie and his friends had bags full of candies. When he went home Cookie promised never forget that day, because he learned that we shouldn’t talk about a person that we don’t know.
    Happy Halloween!

Welcome to the English wall

This is the English wall of the class H of the 6th grade of Escola Básica Integrada de Ribeira Grande.
In this space, I will post their writings, drawings, project works and every little work made by this great class.
My students are also invited to check the blog frequently, as I am going to publish interesting webpages where they can learn, practice and play.

Cheers!
